Known for his ability to tackle even the most challenging cases, Daniel blends sharp legal insight with a compassionate approach, ensuring every client feels heard, supported, and empowered.

While his primary focus is immigration law, Daniel’s extensive background spans Real Estate, Corporate/Commercial Law, and Wills, Trusts, and Estates. This broad expertise allows him to approach immigration matters with a uniquely comprehensive perspective, often uncovering creative solutions that others might overlook. His advocacy extends to the courtroom, where he has represented clients in Federal Court, Superior Court, Small Claims Court, the Committee of Adjustment, and the Landlord and Tenant Board.

Daniel’s client base is as diverse as his experience — from newcomers seeking a fresh start in Canada to entrepreneurs, boards of directors, and community leaders — all benefiting from his tailored, results-driven guidance. Her remarkable journey began as the welcoming presence and trusted liaison of the office for the Portuguese community, where her warmth and professionalism left an indelible mark on countless families.

Demonstrating exceptional leadership and vision, Marlene advanced to the role of business partner and, for over eight years, orchestrated the successful management of the Work Permit Department. Her commitment to integrity and client service has continually set the highest standards for her colleagues and the organization.

Now, as President, Marlene stands at the helm of operations, expertly managing two thriving office locations. Her extraordinary ability to anticipate and address the unique needs of each client stems not only from her extensive professional experience, but also from her personal journey through the immigration process, which has instilled in her an unmatched empathy and understanding.

As an esteemed Immigration Case Manager, holding a diploma from Herzing College, Marlene is celebrated for her collaborative spirit, working alongside Daniel to offer strategic guidance and wholehearted support to all clients. Adriana Baptista is the Case & Marketing Coordinator at Welcome Immigration Services Inc. She plays a key role in supporting the preparation of immigration applications, including PR card renewals, Canadian citizenship, family sponsorships, and humanitarian and compassionate cases. Adriana also manages the company’s social media presence and content strategy, ensuring clients stay informed and engaged.
With over five years of experience as an Assistant Manager at La Vie en Rose and a background in personal support work (PSW), Adriana brings a client-focused and empathetic approach to every file. She is fluent in both Portuguese and English, allowing her to assist a wide range of clients with professionalism and care.

LMIA Case Specialist & Business Coordinator
Alexia Cardenas is an LMIA Case Specialist and Business Coordinator at Welcome Immigration Legal Services Inc. She prepares and coordinates LMIA applications, ensuring compliance with ESDC/Service Canada requirements. With over two years of experience in immigration services and a diploma in Behavioural Science, Alexia brings strong expertise in client communication, recruitment documentation, and policy adherence.
Alexia is fluent in English and understands Portuguese and Spanish, allowing her to assist a diverse range of clients effectively.

Office & Financial Coordinator
Maria João is a Lisbon-born professional with a degree in International Relations from Universidade Internacional. She has extensive experience in the logistics sector, having worked for many years as an Ocean and Air Freight Commercial Assistant before relocating to Canada in 2013 through a spouse sponsorship. In Canada, Maria pursued studies in Image Consulting at George Brown College and has been deeply committed to community service, volunteering for several years with renowned non-profit organizations such as Dress for Success, where she served as a consultant, among others.

A versatile professional, Maria has contributed weekly and monthly opinion and fashion articles to ABC Newspaper and Revista Amar over the years. Her earlier career also includes roles in accounting firms and in the banking sector. For the past five years, she has been dedicated to the field of immigration services, where her genuine passion for people and public service continues to shine.

She holds a degree in Translation Studies and has gained professional experience in various fields, including Public Relations, Event Planning, and Education/Training. After immigrating to Canada with her family, Sofia found an opportunity to work in the immigration sector. Today, she supports and assists newcomers by applying her diverse background and knowledge.
She is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, allowing her to effectively communicate with a wide range of clients.
